1. Nature of the item is awesome given seprate controller.
2. High BASS sound to the point of occupying 20x20 rooms. Not tried rooms greater that.
3. Unmistakable voice sound, no additional sound like error and issue most standard players creates in any event, while you playing harmed old tracks that is from 70s.
4. Bluetooth availability is great. Associates quick and hold till you detach. Association endures in any event, when you change the mode and quickly reconnecting while changing to BT mode.
5. High lucidity of sound seperation when BT input from Dolby empowered cell phone. Mine is realme XT and MI television box.

Updates through OTA, etc. - Can be mounted on a wall. My main reasons for making this purchase were to experience Dolby Atmos surround sound and to improve the audio on my plasma TV. Setting up the Sony S40R soundbar was a simple affair. I have already linked my Blu-ray player, Amazon Firestick, and Tatasky HD box to this soundbar. The bass is exhilarating, and the sound quality is excellent. Most of the audio and sound quality can be understood. The sound creation is incredibly loud and powerful (25 x 20 feet). Excellent connectivity is provided by Bluetooth. Each feature is completely operational.

certified buyer Coming from a newbie who has never owned a speaker or sound system. Sony ht S40R was my first speaker. My expectation from S40R sony speaker were that it would be a huge no. of speakers really big in size to create a lot of noise and that it would come along with a huge mess of cables to set it up. But, it was completely opposite to what I expected the rear speaker did not even have wires to connect is to the front speaker. My favorite thing about this sony ht S40R is the structure and design of this speaker, like the design of the rear speaker is so small and sleek that is wall mountable and can be hidden. Though the speakers do require two power outputs but I do not mind it as there is no hassle of wires and the process of setting up the speaker is very easy.
