Reserve R700 tower speakers have excellent sound and are of good quality. The tower is divided into two distinct driver groups, each of which connects to an amplifier via a different post on the speaker. Lots of highs, lows, and mids, and lovely construction. Normally, a pair of these speakers would be plenty, but they really shine when utilized as the front right and left speakers for surround sound. The sound produced by the towers in conjunction with the rear, sub, and center speakers is extremely delightful when listening to music
