The HT RT 3 has 5.1 channels of real surround sound. It has rear speakers and also an external subwoofer which work together with a 3ch soundbar which results in true cinematic sound. NFC and Bluetooth Connectivity
You can easily stream through all of your favourite music from soundbar, courtesy goes to Bluetooth. You can also choose to start the music instantly through one touch connection via NFC.
HDMI ARC(Audio Return Channel)
The HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) means audio is also carried back to your Sony RT3 Soundbar from compatible TVs, without the need for an extra audio cable. Every device connected to your TV can now be heard through the multi bar, so you can hear all of your audio in high quality.
USB Port
The USB Port allows you to have a stable connection for tablets, smartphones (Android and ios devices) and USB sticks. You can charge your device or play music.
Optical Input for Easy Connection
The optical input lets you enjoy high-quality sound for movies and more. This is for all those TVs not comfortable with HDMI ARC. Use an optical cable to link up to your TV, DVD, or Blu-ray Disc player, to enjoy high-quality Dolby Digital surround sound.
