The Adam-audio T8V is an affordable, professional 2-way powered studio monitor with an 8˝ woofer and ADAM Audio’s latest addition to the T Series. Flagship of the T Series, ADAM Audio’s affordable line of professional 2-way active studio monitors, the T-8V features an 8" polypropylene low-frequency driver that delivers bass extension down to an impressive 39Hz, The tweeter’s broad, uniform dispersion pattern is assisted by a precision waveguide modeled on the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in Adam's Active powered studio monitor premium S Series studio monitors, which provides an impressively wide sweet spot that liberates you from being constrained to a rigid listening position.


The T-8V’s studio monitor beveled cabinet features a rear-firing bass reflex port affixed to a thick metal backplate that houses the analog input connections and DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization. The woofer’s 70W Class D amplifier, in combination with the 20W Class D tweeter amp, enables a pair of T 8Vs to achieve an impressive maximum SPL of 118dB at one meter.

These monitors took my mixing to the next level. The freq. range rivals monitors costing 4 times the cost of the T-8V. These ribbon tweeter studio monitors are great for dissecting the tracks will recording. I have nothing negative to say about them and I am assuming they will last me a long time.

Perfect monitors for my studio. Nice design and great sound. If you are looking for monitors in a economical budget, this is it. The T 8Vs have worked great. My mixes are translating well, nice detail in the mids where you need it. Good control on the low end. Best bang for the buck monitor I have come across.
