This sound bar jbl 9.1 is excellent, but I had high expectations for one with 13 drivers—excluding the subwoofer—to perform even better. I would want to start off by saying that the installation was finished 24 hours after I received the device. After reading other reviews here, I was a little dubious about whether the installation would be completed on time, but I have not had any negative experiences.

I tried this soundbar in various places of my home i installed it in a large living room dining room and bedroom and the sound fills the space nicely. Plenty of low end frequencies very crispy mids and highs. When i need some slow music at night i unplug the sub and its perfect for sleeping kids. I bought this true wireless surround 9.1 bar because of the Chromecast and AirPlay capability and I have no regrets. The setup is easy and quick; the wireless subwoofer connected without issues Bluetooth setup was a breeze and in no time I was putting the system through its paces. I have it connected to my TV through the HDMI ARC input and it works perfectly; coming in and out of standby whenever the TV is turned off and on. It also connects through wifi and it is Google Assistant friendly. Better than other products in this range.

I was going to buy the other version but I went for this one. This one is great you can feel the 300w bass and the crystal clear sound from the sound-bar! I’am very happy the wireless subwoofer is great. Airplay also works great. It’s a very nice product and the Apple TV remote can be used to increase decrease volume of the JBL system. I would suggest this product to anyone who want a sound system which supports al the devices.

The EQ settings are preset to the source. I can say straight out of the box it sounds phenomenal to my ears. I am pleased with the simple operation approach that JBL has taken here the settings are on the spot for me. Bass levels essentially affect the sound fields overall low is good for night time still sounds great and full mid is optimal for most sources high is for big thump and impact. The sub is mini fridge sized. Literally you will need a spot for it. Great product JBL.

The sound is clear and powerful. I keep it on smart mode as the sound fits my taste. The bass from the subwoofer is powerful and so solid: never boomy. The bass has 3 setting: from low to high. Mid setting is good for most programs however on high the bass is perfect for movies. The remote is overly simplistic but it does the job. After 2 weeks Ive been enjoying this sounbar and Im very impressed with the performance.
