certified buyer These ES20s are massive. I upgraded from Polk T15s and decided on the ES20 as opposed to the ES15 because of a great open box deal. They were listed as "Excellent" condition and arrived exactly as described. They sound absolutely fantastic, but they are so large. I'm using them for surrounds in a 7.1 system.

certified buyer These Polk ES20 were used in a surround sound system to replace Polk ES15. The base or mid-range was noticeably better, while the highs or treble remained consistent. Using top Polk signature speakers and a Denon receiver. Polk S55 front speakers, Polk ES35 centre speakers, and Polk ES20 rear surround speakers are what I am utilising. With this setup, you can stream 4K movies and TV shows and use Apple AirPlay. The Polk ES15 will be used as the top rear and front Dolby Atmos speakers. I would suggest these speakers. Note that the Polk ES15 sound excellent and that there is nothing wrong with them.

certified buyer The r100s are the perfect size, so I decided to check whether they were worth double the price since I already have a pair of Polk ES20 bookshelf speakers, but the cabinet is a little too deep for where I need to put them. The speakers sound quite comparable to me thus far, although the r100s lack the es20s deeper bass. Better tactile bass, minds, and tweeter height are features of the R100. Ran both on the Yamaha RX-V4A, but I am confident that the R100s would perform even better on a more premium model. Overall, these are excellent speakers who are very clear and decent in all regions for theatre and minis. I primarily listen to death metal, country music, and blues, all of which are clear and easy to hear.

A: While floor-standing models are often marketed as one unit, book shelf speakers are typically sold in pairs.
Q: How do the ES20 Polk handle high frequencies? Do the speakers sound warm or do they have any brightness?
A: Polks Signature series seems to be tuned to accurately reproduce reality when I listen to my S15 pair. At greater volumes, some people could describe their sound as bright, but it is not warm.
Q: What distinguishes Elite ES20 from the Polk Rti A3?
A: 50-26k Hz frequency response, 89dB sensitivity, 20-150W power range, and RTi A3, S20: power range of 20–125W, sensitivity of 88 dB, and frequency response of 39–40k Hz
Q: What are the Polk signature-es20 exact three dimensions?
A: Both the front and back of them measure 15 inches tall. They are 8.75 inch broad. An exterior bass port construction is present at the rear that extends 1.5 inch outward from the main body and occupies roughly the upper 2/3 of the rear wall. The speaker and bass port extend 14 inch from the front of the grill to the back of the port, measured at the top. The only component at the bottom is the main enclosure case, which measures 12.5 inch from the grills front to its back.
Q: How do they stack up against the Elac 6.2? They are appropriate for stereo use.
A: They sound great when I use them for stereo purposes rather than home theatre.
Q: How much additional power is required for these Polk Audio E-S20 speakers to provide high-quality sound?
A: They play nicely, loudly, and clearly with just 125 W per channel when I utilise that amount of power. 200w per channel would undoubtedly be preferable. I do not need to turn up the volume that much. These S20s have also been connected to a single 85w per channel receiver. Even with 85w, I was pleased with the sound it provided. Polk Speakers, including the Monitor/RTi and SDA series, can produce strong sound with just 50 to 100 watts of power.
Q: What distinguishes Polk Signature from Polk Signature Elite Speakers?
A: Since I have not heard the Signature Elite speakers, I would not be able to distinguish between the two in terms of sound quality. I do have the S20, and I am quite pleased and surprised with the sound these speakers produce. The woofers are nearly identical, and the tweeters share the same appearance. While the signature series is 125 watts, the signature Elite is rated at 150 watts. I do not think there is a very significant difference, and the sound quality would hardly be improved. Keep in mind that tone, not volume, determines what a sound is.
